Mint Hill is located in the east side of Charlotte, NC in Mecklenburg County with a population of approximately 20,000.  The town of Mint Hill was first settled in 1750. Within the town are many churches and excellent schools. Also, there are recreational facilities including private and public golf courses and country clubs. Primarily a residential community which offers quite a lot of home-for-the-money, the business district has also shown intensified development in recent years with approximately 285 businesses and professional services available.

Homes in Mint Hill, NC vary from new transitional mansions to traditional 2-story homes in newer subdivisions.  Land lots are typically larger and more wooded in Mint Hill, compared to areas closer to center city Charlotte and South Charlotte.

The Farmers market in Mint Hill is a wonderful Saturday gathering spot for local produce, baked good, crafts and plants.  The Farmers Market is located in the quaint, Carl J. McEwen Historical Village.

Mint Hill retains its small-town feel, while also offering an easy, 20-minute commute to center city Charlotte.
